An update on phases one and two of the Meadow’s Edge
Subdivision is at the top of the agenda for the City of Alexander’s next
council meeting. Someone
representing the developers is expected to attend. The development is along
Highway 111.
Under Old Business is a raise for the city’s prosecuting
attorney and the mayor’s veto of the “Organization of City Council,” which was
approved by a five to three vote at the March council meeting. Mayor Paul Mitchell vetoed the document
stating it went beyond its intended purpose by establishing policies concerning
the operation of city hall.
The only item under New Business is “Community Center.”
The next meeting of the Alexander City Council is Monday
April 18, at 6 PM in the Alexander Municipal Complex. The public is invited to
attend.
