City of Alexander
officials are “excited” about the opening of the city’s first
Farmer’s Market. The weekly event will be held in Alexander City
Park beginning Saturday, June 3. The Market will be open from 8:00 AM
to 3:00 PM closing for the year at 3:00 PM on September 19, 2017.
The Alexander City
Council approved this first year as a test. Part of the approval
included not charging rental fees for the spots.
The park is located
along Robert Evans off Arkansas Highway 111.
Anyone wishing to
participate as a vendor may obtain an application form, along with
rules and regulations, at the Alexander City Hall Complex; 15605
Alexander Road, across from the Post Office. Additional information
