First Alexander Farmer’s Market starts June 3

City of Alexander officials are “excited” about the opening of the city’s first Farmer’s Market. The weekly event will be held in Alexander City Park beginning Saturday, June 3. The Market will be open from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM closing for the year at 3:00 PM on September 19, 2017.

The Alexander City Council approved this first year as a test. Part of the approval included not charging rental fees for the spots.

The park is located along Robert Evans off Arkansas Highway 111.

Anyone wishing to participate as a vendor may obtain an application form, along with rules and regulations, at the Alexander City Hall Complex; 15605 Alexander Road, across from the Post Office. Additional information is available by calling (501) 455-2585.
