Mitchell has called for a special meeting to be held tonight (Monday,
March 5). The meeting will be held at
6 PM in the courtroom at the City of Alexander City
Hall on Highway 111, across from the post office.
The public is invited to attend.
According
to the agenda the special
meeting has
been scheduled to ask the city council to appropriate funds
for the construction of a “Fountain” in the city park. There is
also apparently the need for the, “Clarification of Bank
Documents.”
While the issue of
the bank documents is a mystery the water fountain is not. Ever since
Mayor Mitchell saw what is being described as a “Fountain pool”
(see photo) he’s wanted one for the park.
