The City of
Alexander Planning Commission will have a special meeting this
Tuesday (September 11) to continue discussion of the proposed new
zoning ordinance. Commission members approved the special meeting
during their regular meeting in August.
The only other items
on the agenda are the review and approval of minutes and a report
from the chairman. Under state law special meetings are limited to
the discussion or voting on agenda items only. Nothing can be added
to a special meeting agenda. There will be no vote on the zoning
ordinance at this meeting.
The meeting will be
held 6 PM in the courtroom at city hall. The public is invited to
attend.
