The Alexander City Council will be revisiting two issues under Old
Business and six items under New Business at the Monday, August 21
council meeting. The meeting is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
Under Old Business,
repairing the water fountain in the city park is once again up for
discussion. Also, the council will revisit an ordinance "Passed"
in June concerning changes to the Arkansas Local Police and Fire
Retirement System.
Listed under New
business are; the submission of three bids to repair the Community
Center #2 heating and cooling system, "Amend cottage use lease
agreements, Animal rescue resolution, Used car trade-in program, Sale
of unused streets/parks equipment," and another visit as to who
will be allowed to sign city checks.
Alexander council
meetings are held in the courtroom at the Alexander Municipal Complex
(15605 Alexander Rd.). The public is invited to attend.
