ReplyDeleteThis is a very important tax initiative.
We really need a YES vote in order to continue the improvements that are currently in place.
The top three things on the mayor's list of items to complete are:
1. An animal ordinance and shelter with 'teeth' in it and a place to put the animals when they are picked up. That is going to take a building, dog food, and personnel; plus volunteers.
2. Another code enforcement officer; in order to complete the clean-up it is going to take more than one policeman writing tickets and following up on them.
which leads to –
3. The clean-up itself; without mentioning the legal expense, we need to be able to hire someone to clean up and haul away when the property owner, can't / won't / moved away / died / ???
VOTE YES NOVEMBER 14, 2017
